Airport Directions
Washington, DC/National/ Reagan Airport - DCA
Hotel Direction: 4 mi N
Driving Directions: Follow the signs to Washington D.C. (George Washington Parkway). Take the I-395/Route 1 north exit (which is the 14th St. bridge). Merge to the far left lane and follow the signs for 14th St. The hotel is eight blocks up 14th St. on the right side at the corner of 14th and Pennsylvania.

From North: I-95S to Baltimore Washington Prkwy. Follow B/W Prkwy to 50W/NY Ave. Turn left on 9th Street. Make Right on E Street. Right on 14th Street. Hotel is on right.

From South: Take I-95N to I-395N. Cross 14th Street Bridge. Take Route 1 (left) Exit. Travel 10 blocks to hotel. Hotel will be on your right.

Washington, DC/Dulles - IAD
Hotel Direction: 27 mi E
Driving Directions: Follow the signs to Interstate 66 east to Washington. Follow I-66 to the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge (US Route 50). Once you cross the bridge, I-66 becomes Constitution Ave. Continue on Constitution Ave, NW for approimately 14 blocks to 12th St., NW. Turn left onto 12th St. and drive 6 blocks to E St., NW. Make a left onto E St. and drive two blocks to 14th St. and turn right. The hotel is on the right corner of 14th and E St.

Baltimore-Washington International - BWI
Hotel Direction: 40 mi S
Driving Directions: Take the Baltimore-Washington Parkway South (MD 295) to US50 west (New York Ave.). Take New York Ave to North Capitol St. Cross N. Capitol St., get into the right lanes and when the large green sign appears for I-395 DO NOT TURN LEFT, stay in the right lanes until the road splits then bear right onto L St. NW. Take L St. NW to 9th St. NW and turn left. Take 9th St. to E St. NW and turn right. Drive 5 blocks to 14th St. NW and turn right. Make a hard right into the hotel driveway.

Rules and Regulations
1. All persons attending the Yuletide Ball Championships, whether as spectators, competitors, officials, or guests of the organizer, shall be bound by the National Dance Council of America, Inc. rules, and by participation in this event automatically become obligated to adhere to them.

2. No responsibility for loss or theft of articles left in changing rooms, ballrooms or hotel rooms can be accepted by the organizer, or by the National Dance Council of America, Inc., and neither can they be held liable for injury sustained by persons attending this event. Everyone attending does so at his or her own risk.

3. In the event that television, video or other pictures are taken, it should be understood that anyone in the ballroom may be photographed, and this photography shown elsewhere. Therefore, each person in the ballroom, by their presence, agrees to be photographed, waives any and all claims related to the use of the photography and the rights, if any, of copyright, privacy, and publicity, and consents to the use of the photography.

4. Personal videotaping is NOT permitted. Please do not bring private video equipment into the ballroom. Competitors wishing a videotape of their performance may make arrangements with the vendor who is contracted to videotape all events.

5. Smoking is not permitted in the ballroom or in any designated competitor assembly area at any time.

7. Competitors should be in the ballroom at least 30 minutes before your scheduled event. The session will not be delayed for latecomers.

8. Changes and corrections must be made at least 1/2 hour before the session in which they are to be danced begins.

9. All closed syllabus divisions, International and American, may use all approved syllabi from member organizations of the NDCA, as well as the official NDCA syllabus for the dance or level in question.

10. All fees must be paid before competing. Competitor numbers will not be issued if fees are owed.

11. The Organizer reserves the right to cancel or combine with other events any event with less than three entries.

12. The decision of the Judges and the Chairman of Judges is final.

13. Marks for each event will be posted after the awards are announced. Photocopies will be available for a nominal fee.

14. Pro/Am & Student/Student package purchase must be submitted with dance entries in order to receive the discounted price. Students
with multiple teachers must coordinate package / dance entry submissions

15. Payment must accompany all entries and purchases.

16. Deadline for dance entries is December 11, 2007.
