All Pro/Am students and Amateur competitors will receive a Yuletide Ball participation memento. Amateur couples and Pro/Am freestyle competitors placing 1st, 2nd and 3rd will receive dollar vouchers for use toward their YTB 2009 dance entries.
Cash prizes will be prorated at the Organizer’s discretion if fewer than 4 couples are entered.

In uncontested events (except Solos) the points will be halved. Junior Pro/Am event receive 1/2 the points described.

TOP TEACHER - 1st Place Award $4,000*
Teacher awards are based on the point system. To qualify, you must dance a minimum of 30 Pro/Am entries. (Scholarship and Championship events each count as one entry.) Only entries received by December 30, 2008 will be eligible. Ten top teacher awards will be given, on a unisex basis. Points are calculated from the number of entries and placements in all Pro/Am events. If there are fewer than ten qualifying teachers, the Organizer reserves the right to prorate the cash awards.
Any top teacher with 300 or more entries - $1000 bonus
Top teacher (with over 250 entries) entries)*
1st - $4000; 2nd - $3000; 3rd - $2000; 4th - $1500; 5th -$1000; 6th - $800; 7th - $600; 8th - $500; 9th - $400; 10th - $300.
Top teacher (with under 250 entries) entries):
1st - $3000; 2nd - $2000; 3rd - $1500; 4th - $1000; 5th - $800; 6th - $600; 7th - $500; 8th - $400; 9th - $300; 10th - $200.
